What's new

What did you do to your Trailboss today? 🛠️

Technically I believe the Hudson Valley is considered to be east of the Rust Belt, but when it comes to winter road conditions we might as well be part of it. We are across the river and just a bit north of West Point. These days it is more freezing rain than snow accumulation, although as has been the case the last few years most of the snow we are getting is in March and April.
I grew up in Salt Lake City. First snow is in October. Final snow is in April. Snow belt/Rust belt, it doesn't really matter what you call it as the result is always the same for anything metal.

The fender flares I ordered very late last night shipped today and should be arriving in the morning. That is incredibly fast for standard shipping (I'm cheap and paid for the cheapest shipping method)! $363.69 plus shipping (<$45) and tax at ShopChevyParts.com came to about $2 cheaper than GM Accessories and their discount for the month with the arrival happening at a dealership next week. Looks like I need to wash the truck right after hitting the gym in the morning so I can install the fender flares when they arrive.

I bought/installed chrome deleted Z71 fender emblems 6 months ago.
Today I PlastiDipped my old emblems.
Not perfect but look pretty decent.
Not sure what I’ll do with them?

I have the blackout package on my new TB. The Z71 badge is completely black. I like the red accent on your old Z71 badge.

I had my local shop update my setup. OEM Performance Kings Suspension, Baja Kits UCA, M27 Deaver Leaf Springs and 35 x 12.5 BFGoodridch KM3.

Today I took off my Trail Boss stickers - I installed the running boards yesterday and added the black Chevrolet lettering just a bit ago…..opinions on debadging the rest of the truck?

My opinion would be to black out your chrome tailgate letters. Personally, I’d add the black trail boss bed decal instead of nothing at all. It would look great with the Chevrolet black lettering and also with the color of your truck.

added a little suspension love this afternoon, Fox 2.5 Elite Rears...first trip out, ran both adjusters at 1, super plush ride and ZERO hard jarring in the rear. return trip, ran the High Speed at 6, Low speed at 1, the hits were moderately less harsh than stock. next trip will be HS 1, LS 5.

Fronts to follow through out the week
