Looking to get the black tips for my trailboss through my dealership but can’t find the option on the website. Any one have and info I appreciate it.

I’d call your dealership and ask them. I have a black LT TB reserved via deposit that my dealership is holding to give us time to finish closing on our house in a few days. They’re installing running boards and bedliner for me, and I also asked if they could order black exhaust tips and have them installed and they said they could do it, just adding it onto the final sale price. Hope this helps!

You should try removing your chrome tips and look for a local powder coater in your area and get them done. I was able to take out mine using an air ratchet and fishing the hose from my compressor to get to the hard to get to spot to remove it I've seen other people use a battery powered ratchet to remove it as well or removing the corner step to get in there. The cost of powder coating was $75.00 for my tips and clips and if you are willing to get underneath to remove the clips I think is well worth it.

You're spot on man - there are several videos on YouTube that show how to do it yourself, including how to take off the side corner bumper steps for better access to the attaching bolts, which appears to make it much easier to take off and reattach! I’d certainly be doing this myself if the dealership wasn’t willing to do it but they’re only charging me the cost of the part and nothing to install so just letting them do that. It’s much cheaper if you do it yourself though, basically only have to pay the cost for paint!
