Ok, let’s see! Whippled the 6.2 in 2021. The Whipple supplied bib for main vacuum supply was defective causing total blockage which then caused a rear main failure.. It caused no catastrophic failure. They wouldn’t warrantee it of course even though it was all filmed and Laptop readings. I took the truck to a neighbor recommended engine rebuilder because no one touched an L-87 then. That’s was Feb 22. guy had it till Sept Told me he couldn’t complete the job and even left out the transaxle. The Engine was or was not rebuilt. $15,000! And still today I haven’t seen my truck since Feb. I could’ve done all this myself but I take 24/7 care of both parents and alone with no help. So we’ll see. It as supposed to be a 800HP engine

Got my TB+ a couple months ago and so far I've added 1.5" spacers, Bushwhacker fender flares, rear wheel well guards, Bed Rug, Hard Tonneau tri fold, running board, hood guard and changed all the chrome emblems to gloss black to match the other gloss black on the truck and ran some auxiliary wiring for future add ons. Currently trying to find a nice winch mount bumper but it is challenging with the new refreshed front end. Anyone come across anything that fits it yet?

I have the refresh LT Trail Boss and every hood guard I’ve found says it’s not compatible. Do you mind telling me what brand you bought and how you like the fit?

I did make a mistake on the first one I got off Ebay that said it would work. I got this off the My Chevy GM website.

Aeroskin® Hood Protector in Smoke Black by LUND® - Associated Accessories

Had 5100's installed yesterday, finally had a chance to look at it in the daylight and took it back to the dealer. I wanted them installed at the stock height, just replacing the garbage Ranchos, and they installed them at 1.1". I don't want any lift, just improved ride and the Ranchos were junk after 73k km.
They are fixing the issue next Friday.

I took off the chrome Z71 emblems from the sides and removed the white and red Trailboss vinyl from the bed. Replaced with matte black emblems and vinyl. I want to replace the grille badge, but will probably attempt paint or spray in place after taping it off instead of removing grille

@dain524 what trail boss decal did you get and do you like it? I want to replace mine but wasn't sure of the quality of the replacement

Just be very careful with your grill. I tried to take mine off and cracked it. So I put the plugs back in and called it good.

I installed AirDesign fender flares today.
Purchased through the Chevy dealer since I had a $100 voucher. Very well made. Fit perfect. I didn’t want big flares so these are perfect for me. I wouldn’t really call them flares since they don’t flare out. A better name would be wheel well moulding.
Just bought these bad boys myself. I had rewards points so I pretty much got them for free. Winning!

Take your time on the install. Use more black adhesive than it calls for and be sure to clean /prep your painted surfacesđź‘Ť

Wrapped the custom interior trim with matte indigo from 3M. Not bad for first time. Ordered bigger piece to do radio bezel next. Possibly may use extra pieces on the side mirrors maybe only wrapping an area.
The textured part of those trim pieces still wraps well? I want to do this but was worried about the wrap not adhering well to the texture.

I ordered these, someone else here had posted them as well.

I watched the YouTube videos, used Windex like instructed. Decals were easy to handle. The only issue I had was that since the letters are all separated, there has to be a temporary front to the decal that is hard to see bubbles under before removing. I was very careful and the driver's side came out perfect. The passengers side I had 2 small bubbles, one on the A and one on the R. I used a hair dryer to loosen up the vinyl and a credit card, they came out easily enough.

This is what I used for the Z71 badges
