So a deer hit me last night on the driver’s side. I’m shocked all the side air bags deployed. They must be real sensitive. I never saw it coming. It hit hard.

My insurance agent told me it’s incredible how many vehicles get totaled because of air bag deployment.
Horribly expensive to replace.
Hope you are not one of them.

Me too. I guess I will know something soon. I’m not looking forward to being without a truck.

Couldn’t find it. I even went back this morning and walked around looking for it. No luck.

Damn😬. I guess he could have smashed thru your driver’s window and it been way worse. I could see that being a $10K repair bill with the bags and body damage.
Keep us posted.

Guy I know had this happen to him in his aluminum body F250. The deer hit every panel from the front wheel well to the bed. Always tell the insurance the deer hit you and not you hit a deer. Damn scammers.

Wrap the whole thing, then you have no buffing to do. Trust me I've thought about it for what I do to it!

One thing I can say about these trucks is that they do usually fare pretty well against those furry bastards. My buddy has a 2019 and has 2 under his belt and each time the damage hasn't been too rowdy. He's without a truck for a while, but that's to be expected.

Over $18k in repairs. They are replacing the headlight, fender, and front door of course the air bags and the headliner. They will repair the rear door rocker panel and the pillar. I did not know the doors were aluminum. Also GM has made it a requirement that if an airbag goes off they have to replace the steering column even if is not a front one. Target date of return is 3/1

That's just the 1st estimate. Once work begins there will be supplemental estimates added to it. If you get over 80% value insurance will total it out.

I hope everything is good if they do not total it. I believe the already tore it down.
