Finally went to Home Depot, spent $9 on two 3/4” x 1-3/4” clamps and a metal 1-1/2” corner brace. Took under 5 mins to clamp down and lock in the corner brace to one of the gaps on the knob. Now the flapper valve set to open.
I will eventually get a new exhaust, but this is a perfect quick fix until then

Which way to "open"? With my truck running I rotated CounterClockwise (toweard rear) and got the most flow. Also looked at a youtube where a guy had cut out a muffler and it looks like CCW was the way to go. He has muffler upside down in this video.

Question about the grill type resonators.
My 2021 TB 6.2L does not have the grill-type resonators...has glass -pack type resonators near the end of the pipes.
Has anyone had those removed. Better sound afterwards (along with the flapper fix)????
