First time posting here. Just made an account after picking up a 2024 1500 Trail Boss LT.

What is the difference between the 1.75” level kit and the 2” SST level kit, both from Ready Lift?

It looks like the SST just gives you an extra 0.25” up front and a 1” block for the rear.

Is that truly the only difference?

does the 1.75” kit make it perfectly level? Or, should I buy the 2” kit and just not install the rear 1” block?

same truck, 2 differing looks...1.75" RL up front only. it LEVELD it perfectly. the 2" SST has a block for a reason.

What Stormin said. If you want a perfectly level truck the 1.75 is your jam. If you are looking for a bit more lift, and want to tow or haul without a squat, go with the SST.

I have the 2.0 in the front only and it's level if not slightly higher in the rear still.

2.0 SST and can confirm it’s still a little higher in the ass end.
I put 5100s at the same time and kept the stock circlip setting. If you’re looking for a big more lift as well as level you could do the same thing and adjust the 5100 (or similar front struts) to a higher preload setting to achieve proper level.

Did leveling with the 2.0 affect gas mileage significantly or handling? And is the ride still smooth after leveling?

No effect to gas mileage (no AFM or DFM so 14.7 avg anyways), but I’m still on stock tire size and rims. Tires will be the silent killer there.

No weird issues with smoothness or clunks or anything. 5100s got to go though - they are too harsh for day to day, but planted and no body roll, and they tow a trailer really nice. I’d take them over the stock ranchos any day though.

I went with the Rough Country Vertex shocks on the back and I love them. With the trail boss you can go with the 0-4” size for $600. I’m running stock tires too, and Cooper AT3 tires

Solid call. Everyone goes 5100s on 4 corners cuz it’s what… $600 for the entire truck? Again, take em any day over the stock ranchos but you get what you pay for still.

I have a full set of Elka for the four corners coming here this week to replace the 5100 set.

waiting to hear how the Elka's do...local dealer has a 2500 high country on Elka's with Cognito arms. Rides very nice for a 2500

I couldn’t justify the cost of Fox 2.5s or equivalent so my choice was Fox 2.0 or Elka. Serious lack of reviews out there for Elka (fox probably shadows out everyone else) but after looking into them they seem to have a good thing going for them. Why not? I’ve heard nothing but positive about the fox when compared to stock but mixed reviews on build quality as of late. Reassuring to hear that the 2500 is smooth!

The Elka's are newer to our truck platform, but not new to shocks. Not sure howntheynare valued, but anything with some adjustability should be a plus compared to the stock ranchos.

I did the 1.75 and I think it looks beautiful. I put 275/65 Ridge Grapplers on it and it barely rubs at the mud flap. I have a little clearance between the UCA and the tire but I just ordered a 1/4” spacer to add to it for safe measures.
