So my truck was wining and I took it in since it only has 31000 on it. Turned. Out the trans pump was fried and some other small part. They “fixed it” and I picked it up after a week. Then 200 miles later the fluid is leaking all over the exhaust and I look like I’m crop dusting on the 405. Turns out a seal on the housing is leaking badly and of course there is no part # for it. 2 weeks go by and they finally decide to just give my a new trans. Not super happy about the whole thing but hey… silver lining is, I got a new transmission. Hopefully it lasts much longer than the first. (Still love my Trailboss)

Great Johnny7. Hope everything else goes good.
Darn. I love my '22. More positive remarks from people than I have had from any vehicle I have owned !

I have noticed my 10 speed doesn’t shift as smooth as my 0ld 02 Dmax Allison I only have 10k miles so maybe it’ll do better after it’s first fluid change.

Reading some of the different problem stories on here scares me sometimes as I drive the Sh$t out of mine mostly off road. I have not experienced any issues so far. Hope I don't. Hate to be remote in bum fu@k3d Egypt and have an issue. Good luck and it is nice they are standing behind the transmission. I'm at almost 36K on my '21 so if it is going to break...... break now!

Johnny7 what do you mean by your truck was wining? And what and how did you notice it?

I ride Harleys so my ears are always listening to the motor and such haha. So when the truck started making a little different sound, (Higher pitch) I took it in. They said it was the trans pump gone wrong.

The pump in the 10 speed is gear driven so you will hear some whining but if it gets loud it could be the teeth are chewed up on the gears. Also transmission concerns are covered under powertrain up to 60k or 5 years.
