'20 Trail Boss owner...was

My Trail Boss caught on fire 7 days ago, seems to have been from the AC blower or short under the dash. Has anyone heard of or experienced something similar? My plans so far are to find another one similar to this one as I had really enjoyed the Trail Boss over any of the countless truck I've owned. But if it's going to be a re-occurring issue I might be forced to go another route.

Wow. That is very unfortunate, hopefully no one was hurt, including yourself. I haven’t ran across any other case reports of this happening in my searches related to the trailboss. Hopefully just a one off freak accident.

Had a family member lose their F-150 to a freak fire like this, burned up in his driveway. It can happen to any car.

Sorry that you lost your truck, hope you find another that you love just as much. Hey, at least you got a fantastic profile photo out of it.

I haven’t heard of fires in Trail Bosses. I had a Grand Cherokee burn up in my driveway about 10 years ago. The fire department got there quickly. They said they were going to let it burn for a few minutes - so it would be totaled. They said I wouldn’t want it back.
