I’ve had my truck few years, decided to purchase after lease expired. Looking to install 2” ready lift kit, 2” RC wheel spacers, S&B cold air intake and JLT oil catch can.

I am by no means a mechanic but was looking to purchase all myself and take all at once for install. Will I lose any 4x4 functionality or any functions at all? Also any inputs on parts that are better please send me thoughts. Thanks

I would bet money on you being able to install the S&B CAI I have the same one and its very easy to install and theres even step by step videos and you only need a few tools, I dont have the JLT yet but from what ive seen while researching its also a really easy install just have to make sure you remember to empty the can every so often. With those lifts and sometimes even a level ive seen many recommend the upper control arms be changed to allow better motion. I am looking at level kits currently also. Ive not had my TB a year yet trying to pace myself lol

Yeah I’m gonna go with the ready lift which comes with UCAs just not sure if I want 2 or 1.75! I’ve heard 2 might disable 4x4 so I’m gonna have to do more research. My S&B CAI, JLT catch can and muffler delete arrived today. Hopefully I’ll have time this weekend to try to install, also returned the RC 2” spacers and ordered the KSP 2” spacers since they are hub centric. Few days ago I debadged all the chrome badges and installed matte black. Slowly but surely coming along

apparently it disables or bad to use the 4x4 auto feature is what I'm understanding,.. for me NO Bueno .... the auto going fast in the mountains on dry road or rain is a must... that's all I got... If you don't run fast in your rig and see no rain or snow... then good....

Think I’ll go with 1.75. Seems to be no issues there

Sounds fun. All I can say is buy Quality Name Brand accessories for a a 60K+ truck. In the past I had no good luck with RC products. Competition or screwing around on a weekend. Twenty plus years ago I would buy so so products. I now push my TB to the limits. If I wanted a Cadillac ride from my TB I guess I would buy a Cadillac. I use it like it was intended. It was made for trails not necessarily flat paved road. The S&B is a sure thing. I Love mine. Do not skimp on suspension especially if you use the truck for which it was designed. Remember the vehicle is only as good as the weakest link. Just don't skimp to save a buck. I did and cost even more. Well, unless it is garage queen. I always believe in doing right. In the past if I couldn't do it right I left it alone. Better to leave stock components then inferior components. Being a mechanical engineer, do it right is all I'm saying.

I’ve heard good things about the ready lift 1.75, but yes I will be doing a lot more research before I purchase one. I already returned all the RC parts. I did purchase KSX 2” spacers, but still hesitant, also trying not to mess with anything that will void warranty as I purchases the unlimited warranty on this truck

now there is sound advice !!

Anyone know if the ksp spacers are simple plug and play? Hoping there’s no need to trim the stock lugs? Can’t decide if I want 2” spacers or 1.5”

Yea I was looking at level kits also but was worried about losing any 4x4 functionality so I go back and forth. I just ordered a blacked out Z71 emblems for the front fenders and decided to clean up the rear TB decal and go with a matte white decal. should look clean out back but still keep the TB decal. Ive seen people remove it completely but not a big fan. Good luck this weekend hope you get a lot done!

Yea my TB had the black out or whatever package so the tailgate letters and inserts were already black. I wanna swap the front z71 and Ill probably wrap the grill bowtie at some point

My black Z71 badges came today. Now just to find time to replace them

I am not sure about the lift and spacers, but I installed a K&N cold air intake on mine along with an oil catch can, and I didn't have any functionality issues. I was getting a warning to check my engine air filter, but no engine light. I was able to disable that warning and had no further issues.
