Last week I was driving and my "check engine" light came on. I got home and plugged in my reader. It read "U0129 Lost Communication With Brake System Control". After a few minutes of rechecking the reader my "check engine" light went out and all was normal again. This afternoon I went out to drive my truck for the second time today. The steering wouldn't turn and the console said to have my Power Steering checked. I lifted my hood and disconnected my negative battery lead for a minute. Trying to reset the brains of this beast. After reconnecting, everything was back to normal. I would hate it if my power steering went out while I was driving. I guess I'll have to make an appointment soon to get things checked out. But I'm sure it will be one of those things they can't fix if it's working like it's suppose to now.
