2022 Trail Boss Duramax 3.0 Oil Type

My first post. I searched and didn't see anything on this first. I do all my oil changes and so far have found best deal on AC Delco oil and filter on Amazon. Seems it's not available to many places. What oil brands and types have others been using and have success with? Also where to buy it from?

Per GM/Chevy specs. Called Mobile to verify as well. This is the stuff. I get mine at the local Autozone.

They sell the 5 quart jugs on Walmart website for $31 each. Free delivery when you buy two. Best deal on oil.

Able to verify Dexos D spec? Have not found many bottles that bear it.

It says Dextros approved Gen 2 on the container.
Actually wasn’t aware of the D requirement for the Duramax. I will use the right stuff when I change it for the 1st time. Thanks for the info

Okay, cool. The D spec has been difficult to find marketed by anyone. Only bottles I have seen it on are the AC Delco and the Mobil 1 ESP bottles. I’ll be at Costco some time this week and give it a look. Thanks.
