My 2023 Trail Boss Custom 2.7l, bought in February recieved end of March, won't turn on or do anything. I can not unlock the doors or lock the driver door which is still unlocked, I can not open the tailgate. It won't do anything upon attempt to turn it on. Tried to jump the battery and charge it, nothing. I can't even put it into neutral. The truck has 11,000 miles on it and gets driven everyday. I drove it yesterday.
What happened?
It is being towed to the dealership tonight.

Any software updates?

It just got replaced today. The battery was faulty not dead. Hopefully it doesn't happen again

Yup...this is an important thing to emphasize. Too many people do a basic voltage test or a basic load test and it passes so they move on. But what's really happening is there's a faulty cell with intermittent conductivity...you won't detect the problem with no load or a static load. It's variable load that triggers the symptoms.

I first learned about this phenomenon with a luxury car like 15 years ago...back then mainstream pickups were not complicated enough to need such advanced batteries...but luxury cars were. Had a Cadillac CTS that was working perfectly, then went completely dark one night...like no sign of life at all...weirdest thing i'd ever seen up to that point. Then it would come back on and act totally normal, or act like an alien ship with random things malfunctioning. It's an issue that causes very weird symptoms.
