That looks awesome. I wonder how much of the Hummer is under there?

Chevy just teased a Trailboss EV!

It is a $100k truck. I can't afford it even without the $25K mark up. But damn if I could, I would.

I loved the Avalanche I used to have, but it was a modified Suburban, not a Silverado. Why would they make this Silverado uni-body?

Unibody vehicles do not have a full length separate frame (chassis). The suburban has/had a full length separate frame. I replaced a couple Yukon frames when I worked for a GM dealership. The body was completely separate and I would use the lift to raise the body off the frame then swap parts between the old and new frame. Then remove the old frame from the lift bay floor and roll the new frame under the lift.

Looking at the link it is hard to tell but they do seem to show the rolling chassis with batteries added. That seems more like a separate chassis than it does a unibody.

I had a 2004 Avalanche I drove for 16 years and 200,000 miles. Put a radiator and a water pump in it. That's it. Loved that truck. Mine was a rare one that did not have the ridiculous plastic armor all over it. The plastic was Chevys big mistake. I believe that is what kept them from catching on. All of the other Avalanche features were incredibly functional and worked well. The bed cover was 100 watertight. The fold down rear seat with pass through for cab to bed was awesome. You could easily haul things longer than the bed. I also spent many many nights sleeping in it as a camper. Much of my lower body was in the bed but my head and shoulders were in the roomy cab. Everyone I know that owned one loved it. I think the haters just didn't like the look.

If the EV has a sealed bed cover to go with the cab pass through that would be a big plus for me.
