2026 Silverado custom trail boss 3.0
I’m new to the group. Picking up my truck this week . I have already purchased the PPE oil and tranny pan , banks idash data pro/ pod . And flush mount diode dynamic amber fog pro lights, also looking at 6112’s /5160’s for the spring.
I bought this model after owning 2014 loaded LTZ . Realizing I didn’t use 1/4 of the options thus the reason for going for the durability of the diesel and lower level trail boss custom package . Function above creature comforts I never used. Like to hear opinions on the 6112/5160
And after market fuel filter setups ,

I’m new too. Picked up my Diesel Trail Boss Custom about 2 weeks ago. I’ve added step rails and a tonneau cover…waiting for my fog lights to come in. Good Luck with your new truck.

I’m sure my son who turns 16 in June will enjoy it more than me . As I work offshore 3 weeks at a time here in Canada .

He’s one lucky 16 year old.
Do you have any plans for lift, tires or wheels?

Welcome to the Forum. You are buying quality aftermarket parts/accessories. The Bilstein sst up you mentioned is pretty good. I know it rides firmer / rougher than the factory coilovers / shocks. Enjoy your new truck (y).

The 295/70/18 tires fit ok with just the 2” ready lift and1.5 wheel spacers? Can you post a pic, please

Hes right your ride will be firmer ....no bodyroll around corners or diving when braking...and at speed and in the rough these shocks really shine

The tires cleared fine / zero rub with the 2” lift until I added the spacers. Then they rubbed a little in the mudflap area. I did the mud flap trim mod and pulled in the fender liner a bit and it’s all good. The spacers were to wider the stance for appearance.

Same to you . Getting the pan sprayed while I’m offshore this week and tonneau is on its way . My sister in Florida has recieved the lasfit Pro kit for Silverado and is sending it north . Getting her rust checked and light bar installed when I get home again . Daughter is after putting 1000km on her since I left with all the snow the island has had . Hope to get a decent price on Bilsteins and have them installed in the spring .
