The next-generation Chevy Silverado 1500 is shaping up to bring some major improvements, and one of the biggest headlines so far is its potential range. According to a recent report, the 2027 Silverado equipped with the 3.0L Duramax diesel could offer configurations capable of traveling up to 1,000 miles on a single tank of fuel.
That’s a massive jump compared to today’s diesel Silverado models. Current trucks top out at roughly 600 miles of range, depending on configuration, meaning the new model could increase range by as much as 400 miles.
