'22 LTD. AFE CAI question

Let me start by saying that I've done minor service (oil changes, gasket changes, brake jobs) on all of my own vehicles throughout the years, so having to ask this embarrasses me a bit...

I have a 2022 Limited TB 2.7. I have a question about how to remove the crankcase breather hose. I want to install my AFE CAI, but I'm stuck on (literally) step 2 of the instructions because I can't figure out how to remove that hose. Can anyone offer some special insight as to how to remove that thing?
