24’ Chevy Silverado Trail Boss LT

Picked up a brand new 24’ Chevy Silverado LT z71 two months ago. Last week, was coming home from work and truck suddenly went into neutral with an error “conditions not right to shift” or something along those lines. Truck did not want to shift back to drive so I had to get it towed. Just got off the phone with the dealer saying a new engine is needed. Anyone have this problem before? How long did it take for it to be resolved?

Engine had 1800 miles which is really insane to me that i need a new one already.

I think that might be worst i've heard yet
