Sorry if this question has been beat to death but there’s so much info out there it feels like a gamble.

I just bought my trail boss and I want to upgrade the wheels and tires. I plan on doing the 2” ready lift SST kit and would like to fit 35x11.5 KO2s on either a 17 or 18” wheel. What offset wheels should I be looking for to clear the upper control arm? I would prefer to not use wheel spacers if that’s possible, but if I could add spacers on the stock 18s to get by until I got wheels that would be ok, as long as I didn’t have to modify studs.

This will hopefully help you visualize it. Put in stock measurements, stock 18’s are +26 offset. Then put in new tire size and offset on new wheels.

I did 295/70r18 (34) Toyo R/T Trail tires on factory wheels. Did not add any extra lift or spacers and mine do not rub at all. As far as wheels, I would do a -18 offset at most depending on how far you want the tires to stick out from the fender.

front shot are always welcome...people love seeing offset, especially with spacers installed.

"front shot are always welcome..." That's what she said! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Just remember that the farther out you go, the more likely you are to rub.

Corey,

that looks good. I personally am a fan of the taller, Narrow tire.
i have very near future plans (looking right now) on going to a 18x9 or 20x9 with a 35x11.5 or a 37x12.5 with a ZERO offset.
i am not liking the wide fatter look., which i knew i wouldnt, but for some reason went that direction. she will go up a couple more, get slightly trimmer and roll a big tire.
