I've been getting an abnormal whine in the engine area that corresponds to revving the engine, and have had it about 3-4 weeks. The charge system is acting normally. I suspect an issue with the power steering pump, or the alternator. I'll have it checked at the dealership when I do my next oil change. But was curious if anyone has had a similar issue. 2020 TB, 5.3 33,000+ miles, and zero issues so far. It runs fine, just isn't a normal noise.

I wonder if the serpentine belt is failing already? I have not had similar issues but maybe different climates could cause it to go out prematurely. Let us know what you find out.

I was hoping the OP was going to talk about a supercharger

Its direct injection, the pump is loud. That may be it? I thought something was bad on a pulley bearing when I first bought my 22.
