Anyone else have a problem with the Accelerator Pedal being too slippery when it is wet? It might be the boots I wear; however, a bit of snow or just wet soles and my foot keeps slipping off the accelerator pedal and when slipping on the pedal is squeaks like mouse just before the trap shuts on it's neck. No problem with the brake pedal. It appears my accelerator pedal does not have a slip on rubber cover like on the brake pedal.

My answer to this will be to order a set of billet aluminum racing pads to bolt to the brake and accelerator pedals.

Any other suggestions before ordering would be nice. I should add, I tried the slip on cheap crap from Amazon and the accelerator pedal covers would not fit due the covers were off on the exact fit. Tried tow different brands; however, have a feeling both were actually made by the same Chinese country.

Walked today in the rain with the dog and girl-friend and that pedal squeaked from my boots sliding on the pedal surface until all was dry. It will be fixed!

Would traction/anti-slip tape work? Cut it to the size of the pedal and stick in on.

It happens to me also but more with the brake pedal.

The ones shown; shiny with the diamond cut pattern. And I'll post back with some photos and I'll test with snow covered boots and just wet. From what I read, install requires at least two bolts foe each pedal, with four bolts recommended. Should be no problem drilling some holes in the pedals.

Took a while for me to get around to installing; however, once I started it was a breeze. The squeaking of the boots to the pedal are gone, the grip is a 1000 times better than before.

These are ones I picked up on ebay designed for the Silverado for about $20.

She's commonly known as a bi-color GSD. However, they have many different looks and colors

Strange your dog does not look like any of my past GSDs (I have owned) or past GSDs I worked with (handled) when I worked for Uncle Sam.

Someday, if I'm still around I'll get an all black one and/or an all white one. Or maybe both...
