Air Conditioning Full blast

Hey guys, Just wondering if any of you have noticed. I live in Southern CA. And when I auto start my TrailBoss (2021) regardless the temperature the AC is on full blast. Even if its Cold (for us CA people 60degs) AC is full blast. I have checked to make sure the ac is off and still blows likes its 110 out side. Any thoughts before I take it to the dealer?

Its normal. Does it with heat also.

You can adjust this with the MyChevrolet app. When you log in press the car icon on the bottom left corner of the screen labeled HOME. A dark grey pop-up menu comes up. On the bottom right corner is a box with a 4 prop blade labeled CLIMATE. Press that and a new menu comes up. At the bottom is AUTO FAN MAX SPEED. Under it are 3 settings for low, medium, and high. Select the one you prefer.

Play around with the app. There's things you can do to make your truck even more personalized.

Hey guys thanks for the responses. Whats strange with mine is it is always cold never heat that blows at full force. I dont remember the last time heat was on. Even in the cold days of California. I dont have the app but will down load it and try it. Is the app compatible with Custom trailboss?

Don't think it can be adjusted... Automatically goes back to last setting when key is put in or start button is pushed...

DUAL ZONE AUTO CLIMATE OPERATION DURING REMOTE START:

Cold ambient temperature that is below 50°F (10°C):
Mode = Defrost
Temperature = Full Hot
Blower = Six bars
Recirculation = Fresh Air
A/C compressor = Only commanded on if conditions allow compressor engagement.

Hot ambient temperature that is above 59°F (15°C):
Mode = Last known settings
Temperature = Full Cold
Blower = Last known settings, unless the blower was in the "Off" position. In which case, the blower will be turned to the "Auto" setting.
Recirculation = Recirculation
A/C compressor = On

Mid ambient temperature that is anything between the cold and hot ambient temperature values:
Mode = Last known setting
Temperature = Last known setting(s)
Blower = Last known setting
Recirculation = Last known setting
A/C compressor = Last known setting

SINGLE ZONE MANUAL CLIMATE OPERATION DURING REMOTE START:

Cold ambient temperature - below 50°F (10°C):
Mode = Defrost
Temperature = Full Hot
Blower = 8
Recirculation = Fresh Air
A/C compressor = Only commanded on if conditions allow compressor engagement.

Hot ambient temperature - above 59°F (15°C):
Mode = Panel Vents
Temperature = Full Cold
Blower = 8
Recirculation = Recirculate
A/C compressor = On

Mid ambient temperature - anything in between "cold" and "hot" ambient temperature values that are listed above:
Mode = Last known setting
Temperature = Last known setting
Blower = Last known setting
Recirculation = Last known setting
A/C compressor = Last known setting

Thanks for posting. I need to look into this. I wonder if i leave it full blast. I dont think so but worth checking.

That’s what it does in my experience with my 21. It’s heat in the winter though. Probably depends on what temperature your air mixer is set.
