Okay so I want to do the amber grille lights like I have seen some people do with the LT and some custom but there are a lot out there and some have bad reviews. I wanted to do these but they say not for the custom TB so I guess the grille slats or something are different and they will not fit the same?

The grill slits/pattern is slightly different on the LT and custom.

I went with these for my custom TB:

I used the metal brackets the lights came with and some 3M tape and a black zip tie on each up behind the front of the grill to attach, will see if I can get a few picks when it's light out. Did need to add some wire to run from the lights to the battery and ground.

Have had them on since October 2021, went through a New England winter and are still working well.

I was going to ask about how they were doing. Seems like they are holding up good. They have to go through a hot summer down south.

Did you just have to use a wire fuse tap or whatever it’s called?

Just saw these on eBay as well, which are the 1st ones I've seen specifically for the custom grill

They say those same lights fit a bunch of different stuff. I'm guessing you have to attach them with zip ties. I bought a set at my local supermarket chain that attach with double side tape. I'm waiting for it to warm up to see where I can mount them.

I used these with tiny black zip ties and they work and look great. I will try and get some pictures added to show how and what they look like.

awesome thanks! I def like those and I do not have to wait forever to come from China. They look similar and i am sure is better quality. I like they come with the zip ties and stuff. Do I need more wire to make it to the battery and I guess get a fuse tap wire

Here are a couple pictures of them on and off. When off you can barely tell they are there. They have a slight smoke tint to them. I have them wired using a fuse tap to an ignition fuse so anytime the truck is on these will be on.

looks great man! thanks for the pictures and help. I ordered them and hopefully will do this weekend! Did you have to have any other wire to make it reach the fuses by battery or were they long enough with the fuse tap?

The wires that come with the lights are plenty long to reach the battery and the fuse box. The only issue I ran into is finding the correct size fuse tab. It is the micro size fuse tap with a 10amp fuse.

it should be this type.
awesome, thanks for all of your help! I love the look of it. I am going to try to put it into the headlight fuse or something so it is always on

Finally got it all in, so the red wire will go into the fuse tap and then the black wire is the ground correct?
