I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but here goes. I have a 2023 TB and I am looking at ditching the stock Ranchos.
My first choice is the Bilstein 6112/5100 combo at stock height. With these, can I keep the stock UCAs without issue?
Yes I know that it is a good idea to get better ones, but at the moment I am trying to save $$. I am running the stock black wheels that came on the truck.
One thing that came up if I chose to use the Bilstein UCA, is backspacing. They say a max of 4.75, and I think the wheels are at about 5.5/5.7 or so.
These are what have been recommended to me, but I have read conflicting information about rubbing the stock rims.

I am planning on stock height, no additional lift.
Will I have an issue? What other brand UCA can I go with and not break the bank?
I do not like to run spacers, and I want to keep the stock rake of the truck.
Thanks!

IF you run the replacements at STOCK height, the stock arm will suffice. They still have their issues, but it is a way lower number at stock height (ALL parts have failure rates, and forums are way less numbers the manufactured parts)

if or when you do plan to change arms, dont be so budget friendly as much as quality driven....get something worthy of having. Be cautious when ordering and researching, some offer STOCK REPLACMENT, as well as for LEVELED applications

below is an example, the BIGLIFT arms retain stock angles, as they used cradles and knuckles to restore geometry...the other corrects the geometry by way of fabrication built into the arm

I am though a firm believer in buy once, cry once, and I think I may just get better UCAs while I am at it.
I wish I had a definite answer on the Bilsteins as far as rubbing and backspacing with the stock wheels.
I am also being recommended these:

Any others I may be missing?

Whats your opinion of the Icon and their Delta Joint?

i like the delta joint, the design is a perfect blend. do YOU need them, NO. way overkill for staying stock height, they are more designed for increased travel.
the Elevate, Bajakits, Dirt King, Mazzula, Kibbetech lines are all top notch

alot of good to be said for daily drivers, light off roaders in the ways of the Readylift, Zone. BDS etc...the key is the joint size and MOSTLY ANGLE that it works in. the failures are mostly in over extended angles pressuring the joint itself.

I agree that I don't NEED them. I cant say for sure that I wont add lift down the road, and I was just thinking that while it is all apart, get ones that I wouldn't have to change down the line. I can get them for 775 which isn't bad.

I decided to do the UCA's anyway, just because I think the Icons are better quality than stock, and I may lift it more down the road.
I was able to get the 6112 coilovers assembled with new tophat and hardware, 5100 for the rear, and the Icon UCA's with tax for 2K. I don't think that's a bad price.
I appreciate all of the help here!(y)

I have a 2022 custom put 5100 at all 4 corners . Nothing else has been done. Love the performance especially when I'm towing my trailer.
