So I absolutely love my new TB, but I gotta call spade a spade... The cameras in my Ram looked so clear and vivid, not 4k but everyone always commented on how incredible that cam looked.

In the Tb, not so much lol it's passable and it'll work but I gotta assume theres upgrades to purchase maybe? Not sure... If not I'll live but figured I'd ask.

There's the standard cam and the "HD" cam that's part of the surround vision camera package. You can't just swap the cameras though. They have different wiring and connectors for the cameras and the display in the dash is different as well.

Yea see I get sometimes discombobulated with all the packages. Coming from my night edition ram I just expected a cam that was comparable and I mean it's passable. But for that price tag I guess I just assumed some things are there.

The other thing I'm sorely missing a bit are parking sensors. It was a nice touch, I always felt pretty safe when maneuvering around until I heard a beep... But I think those sensor systems can be installed.

What trim level do you have? I thought the parking sensors were part of the LT package. I have the Custom trim so they weren't standard nor an option.

I honestly find the trims confusing honestly. I mean mine is an LT... But no sensors. It sorta al bugs me how this stuff isn't standard by now for 60000 dollar rides. Like I just see no reason why my cheaper night edition ram came with sensors, better HD screen, bed liner and a few other things and the Chevy didn't.

I couldn't find many TBs around so it's why I sorta took what I could get. But now that I have it I love it but I just am bugged by a few things.

The package options are hit or miss from what ive seen for example I have an LT TB which does not have the parking sensors or the rear sliding window. Those things are nice but not a huge deal the one thing that does baffle me when i got into a 60Kish truck was the lack of wireless careplay!

It's honestly kinda sickening to me. Like you said it's not a major major deal but it still eats at me. My ram had sliding window, sensors, liner, better cam, and this has none of that. I thought sensors was standard by now like a seat belt, its a nice tool... It was in my last few Rams and I don't get how a 60k vehicle doesn't have that.

I mean the look of this truck is what I wanted and I love it. Having a lift is nice and I mean the options like wifi are nice but sorta meaningless when I have unlimited data but it's still cool.

Like the fact this doesn't even have wheel liners bugs me as well. I just need to get over it but I'm paying almost a 100 more a month for a lot less truck and I sorta can't compute that lol if that makes any sense

Lucky for me I came up from a 2016 z71 which was also an LT so from that to the TB was an upgrade. I am a GM guy and have been since I was a kid so I grew up wanting a chevy truck and I love the way these TB's look and drives.

I cant agree more with the rear wheel liners its crazy to me one of the 1st upgrades and things i bought from this forum. Another small thing is lack of LEDs from the factory like some are led updated and some are not like the license plats lights that we all changed out like day 1. Somethings else i never understood was the silver dash bezel around the headunit!!!! its silver like why silver nothing on the truck is silver theres chrome and fake wood but no silver i wrapped it in my 16 and plan to do the same in this TB

Yea for me I was both GM and Dodge, we had both so I sorta like both.. I gotta be honest the new Rams feel amazing as well. I love what they offer... But the new TBs looks wise take the cake for me. Absolutely love it... I just need to shake off some of the other disappointments after having it home for awhile.. Like said they aren't huge deals but man losing those sensors hurts a bit. I don't need the slider window, but having some more parking tools is always nice.
