Dear TB owners - Do you have a picture of a 285/75/R18 on the front? Please share

My goal is to get a slightly wider tire than stock, but much taller. so I am looking at 285/75/18 which works out to a skinny 35 at 34.8" x 11.2" wide.

Why a skinny 35? Because the truck is in Canada and it gets snowy and icy so i want skinnies because I feel that wide tires will have me slipping all over in the winter. plus I dont want huge poke for mileage reasons.

I'm certain it will clear based on many people running 35x12.5, possibly need a bit of trimming.

Looking at running 18x9.5" wheels with a -10 offset. I will document my progress here over the next months as I upgrade but hoping for some other people to share their skinny35s if they got em

Thanks!
BL

This guy has something pretty close to the look I want:
34.5" x 11.5" Wide on 20 x 10s

I was planning to put them on from the start but the dealer I ordered my TB from wouldn't install the ReadyLift leveling kit (or any non-GM part) so I went with 33's. Figure I will install the 285/75/R18 for my second set of tires when the 33's wear out as I won't care as much about the warranty by then.

I can share, however my truck is lifted and spaced.

These are 285/75/R18. Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. A little loud at lower speeds but I like them over some of the others. But then again, I didn't buy tires to be road quiet tires.

Thank you sir. Very handsome stormtrooper you have there!
What size wheels are those/offset? Do you have a head on pic of the poke?
Do you find the 35s on 18s a little loose on the road?

Thanks!

The wheels are offset 1.5" front and back. I always drive like I stole it. I love speed i guess! I have never had an issue with the tires loose on the road and that was way over 120 mph. I will get a front on picture today for you. Off-roading this afternoon.

Front view as requested. Nine inch rims.

Nice looking truck! What lift are you running?

my local dealer ordered and installed my RC 1.5" leveling kit a year ago. my truck was bought as certified used wih all remaining warranties. the reason I went there was just in case there were any issues I have the documents who installed it with no precautions given. I also got a screaming deal. I get your reasons too

Thank you for the compliment! Had the BDS 6" Lift kit and BDS Traction Bars installed. Mostly because of the warranty. Excellent lift!

any levelling kit allow for "auto" 4 wheel drive ? I have been looking and short of calling a couple MFG's ?
