Hello everyone! I'm hoping that someone might have one for sale? Or maybe know of a way that I can buy one? (I live in California...CAI will not sell/ship to me) Thanks in advance all! -LB
Agreed on the California BS. I think GM quit doing their cold air intake though, I don't see it for any Silverado models anymore on the Chevrolet website. I wonder if the dealerships were complaining about the little re-tune that they were having to do on these.California is really doing its best to suck the fun out of the end of the internal combustion era. I can't seem to find the Gm performance intake anymore for the refresh models (which I would prefer to avoid potential warranty arguments) - I'm sure California is the reason.
Was talking to my buddy at Quality Chevrolet about the factory one, and he said GM removed them due to issues with the tune/program. Once they iron out the bugs they'll start offering it again.California is really doing its best to suck the fun out of the end of the internal combustion era. Thanks for the offer! I had my buddy in Phoenix order me one and forward it over. Should arrive Friday!Send me the money and I will buy it and ship it to you in California!!! So many crazy laws in that state, I thought NY was bad..
I have the GM factory CAI on my 2021 6.2 TB and have no problems yet. Bought it used with no calibration papers. Do you know what your buddy at Quality Chevrolet was talking about with the tune/program? The only thing I can find on line is some thing about emissions control.
