Anyone really filed a lawsuit or joined an existing lawsuit for the lifter failure?

Has anyone really filed or joined an existing lawsuit over the lifter failure problem? Sitting here thinking about my truck being in the shop right now. And I'm weighing my options..... like trading it in, selling, suing etc.... what's everyone's thoughts?

Supposedly there's a class action lawsuit but that has slim chances, if any, of achieving anything significant for the consumer.

Agree. As long as the manufacturer has covered under warranty or "made whole" the product, likely NOTHING will be done.

5.3 and 6.2 V8 engines, particularly those with Dynamic Fuel Management versus the slightly more dated Active Fuel Management.

Yes I believe the 3.0 Duramax and the 2.7 turbo engine are both safe from the lifter issues.
