Anyone use a slide in camper on a 2022 Trailboss LT?

I've been researching weight and payload and its coming in pretty close once the camper is fully loaded with gear etc. My concern is mostly the weight on the axel considering its a short box. Specifically looking at a Carpri Cowboy unit that's 77" long and will fit with the tailgate down. It seems like keeping the 50 gal water storage tank dry or half full would help out

If you're worried about weight and don't mind a soft sided option with no bathroom/kitchen area "ThAircamper" makes an interesting inflatable option.

Check the owners manual. I seem to recall saying you shouldn't use a slide in camper in a short box.

Shortbox or standard. Not sure I have ever seen a TB with a shortbox and in fact, all I have seen are standard 6.5 box.

Shortbox and 98% of them are the 5'8" bed. It's an extra $300 or so for the "standard" bed. I was going to order it on my truck but they didn't know how long it would take and I think they were only being made in Mexico.
