Here's a quick and inexpensive mod that looks killer on the Trail Boss. It's the LightShield Hood Protector that can be picked up for about $125. Here's a photo I ran across on Facebook that shows it installed on a black Trail Boss.

what light bulbs do you have? they look white. hid /led/or a white colored halogen?

I have the AVS hood protector color matched to my black Trail Boss, It comes in 3 factory colors, Black, Silver and white.

So I have a 2019 Trail Boss and when I look at the lightshield or lightshield PRO it says will not fit Z92 or Trail Boss versions. But people here seem to have lightshields on their TBs so what is the verdict? Do they work without modification?

They will work on your year. They won't work on the 22+ Refresh trucks because the hoods changed.
