B pillar trim

I was looking at my TB and noticed all the gloss black mixed with random flat black. Especially on the side view. Gloss black mirrors, door handles, and wheels.
The textured flat black B pillar trim panels seemed out of place. I actually thought about stealing the gloss black B panels from my wife’s Yukon. She 100% would never notice. I ended up buying these $20 panels on eBay and they look really good. Kinda crazy to drop $50K on a new TB ( 2021 prices) and care about $ but why not.

i have considered the same, but would probably pull and paint the factory pieces.

are those adhesive panels ?

I saw a 2023 GMC Sierra AT4 on a dealer lot and ALL of the trim around the windows are gloss black. You can buy the LT trim gloss pieces on the B pillars, but they're not cheap. Then you still have the textured parts behind the mirrors and at the rear of the rear door. I put Putco black stainless stick on trim on my Custom. It has the pieces behind the mirror and at the back of the rear door. I have the Putco black stainless CHEVROLET inserts in the grill as well.

This bothers me as well. Do you have a link to the item on eBay? I see quite a few, most from China. Not sure which to select.

I watched a video of a guy swapping his out for OEM gloss black pieces, and while not difficult it did look tedious with all the plastic clips and such. I’ve considered it, but it’s further down the list. Yours looks good.

Follow-up report on these.
I installed them about 1.5 years ago. The sun and other elements have faded them and they look like . I’ll probably apply a gloss black wrap and see how long that lasts.

do you protect them, or handle them with any care....they do scratch easily with use.
i love mine, but the textured was a nice place to use for closing the door...

first thing i did was ceramic coat mine...installed them about a week after coating them.
this was last fall, but i washed it today and they are still the same.
mine IS garage kept, but i detail a bunch and have to polish out all the handling marks

Ya I didn’t do much anything to protect them. I ll probably get another set and do what you do minus the garage part

they CAN be polished, start there and see how they turn out

not sure how well the overlays handle that, but worth a shot
