Definately a good deal. BW has some purpose built for the multi-pro that store under the hitch out of the way when not in use. This may have been one of them I can’t tell the difference.
Me either but I am sure I would have been able to make it work

I studied them, the one for the MultiPro actually sits deeper in the receiver…sorta goes around it to be more recessed. It’s also $100 more than the standard B&W. Wasn’t worth it to me. I put my bedrug from the TrailBoss in the AT4 and ran a strip of heavy Velcro along the top, making the MultiPro non functional without taking it loose. I really don’t need that feature anyway.

I ordered one with less drop for the AT4. I’m not gonna do anything to it that would require more drop so this new one will be good. Etrailer had the one I sold for like $279ish. They definitely have the best pricing with free shipping.

I don’t have the multipro option so doesn’t really apply to me, just throwing it out there that it exists. At times I’ve wished I had the multipro (reaching further into the bed) but feel like I’d be constantly worried that I’d slam it into the hitch.

I love the multipro for the reason you stated of being to reach in farther but I use it a lot for stepping in and out and loading stuff. I just make sure I don’t have my hitch in unless I am towing something. It’s become second nature to check before.

I believe the hitch for the MultiPro has an angled top piece vs the squared off of this one to allow for more clearance. Way too pricey for me and I never leave a hitch in unless I'm actively using a trailer or about to.
