We just bought our Trail Boss and we want a good quality bed cover. Any suggestions?

I have had what is now known as Truxedo on four different Chevy trucks. Same product, company keeps getting bought out.

Every truck I've had gets used as a Truck. Carrying dirt bikes, firewood, garden soil, driveway rock, lumber and/or heavy machinery. A "camper shell" or Tonneau that isn't easily and quickly out of the way just isn't practical.

I'm looking for one myself, I had a hard bakflip cover on my old truck that I really liked. Been looking at FB marketplace for the past week or so.

Found a slightly used Undercover UltraFlex on FB Marketplace for $500 (normally $1000 new). Anyone have any experience with those? I have only had Bakflip in the past and really liked it.

edit: I guess Truck Hero makes multiple different brands of bed covers, they own UnderCover and Bakflip?

Watch out for the soft covers with Velcro attached to the sides. After about 3 or 4 years the Velcro wears out and it will balloon going 75mph down the

interstate !! Truxedo.

That may be for some brands ... are you saying this will happen to a Truxedo? I have used the soft covers with velcro attach for quite a while now. These were other company names, but the same product bought out, under a new name, which is now Truxedo.

- Six years on my 1993 Chevy pickup, the last 6 years out of 14 and 160,000 miles.
- Five years on my 2007 and 110,000 miles
- Ten years on my 2011 and 106,000 miles
- And now two years on my 2021 Trail Boss, 25,000 miles.

I have never had any sort of problem with these covers, in wind, at freeway speeds, heavy snow and very often rolling them up or rolling them back out again. I always pull them down tight and make sure they are secure. It's also good to keep them clean, like the rest of the truck.
