I bought a 30in LED light bar and going to mount it behind the grill. Has anyone else done this? I saw a YouTube vid but the guy had brackets he bought but they are not available now.

I mounted a dual row 30 inch RC to my bumper. Fits perfect and I don't loose light because its not covered up. There are automatic louvers behind the grill.

I mounted it today. I fabricated 2 brackets and attached them to two existing bolts. The shutters still operate as before. Extremely bright. Great $85 mod👍
I probably should have used a 2 row LED bar since it would double the light output with same install effort😑.
Took some time but very satisfied with the results.

Awesome, did you wire it directly to existing lights?

The light is slightly blocked by the grill but not significantly.
I used the same push button switch that came with the dual RC grill lights. The switch is lower/right of the steering column kinda by my inside right knee. Not very convenient but it’s temporary.
I’d actually like to get a foot switch like the high beam switch in pre 90s vehicles.326789B9-786A-44C3-92D9-5BBA89CCFCFC.jpeg

Do you have pics of the brackets you fabricated?

I bought two 12in metal “straps” used to tie beams together. Drilled the ends to accept the existing bolts holding the shutter frame.
I bent it to fit and used two bolts on each bracket to attach it to the mounting points on the back of the light bar.
The center of the light bar rests on the lower mount for the grill. It’s very sturdy and rigid.

Looks nice.
Can I ask where you getting power for all your lights? Direct from battery or fuse box? I’m wanting to but small leds in grill and was wondering where you get power
