Thinking about going to Bilsteins for my 2025 Trail Boss. As normal, I haven't paid attention to shocks until now, when I have decided to try different shocks to help get rid of my "rocking-horse" ride. Looking for something firmer, and in the past seem to remember that most guys replace both the front and rear shocks. However, I can't even come close to remembering the 2 different shock numbers. Also, would these new shocks be a simple R&R job? Thanks.

simple swap....YES
simple selection... NO

shock choice is very subjective. you say FIRMER...and most of the bilstein 5100 line is perfect for that as well as a bolt on replacement. be aware of the vehicle fitment, as a lot dont offer the full 2" the TB already has built into the front shock. look for TB specific of something advertising 2-3.5" lift. the 3.5" will offer teh leveling most also look for

I have a stock height '22 and did rears only in October which made a huge change in ride quality over the 36k mile Rancho's. This is the # that was installed, 24-309516.

24-337069, 24-309516 is what I used. This was supposed to give me a "level" at the highest setting but honestly it just brought me back to stock. Worth every penny though
