Black exhaust tips

GM offers black exhaust tips instead of chrome as an accessory. Has anyone bought and installed them yet? If so do they match the bumper and does anyone have pictures?

Geez that’s steep, couldn’t pull off the sleeves and paint yourself? I’ve seen someone do it, unsure if it was on this forum, one bolt or nut holding it on. Think the guy said he paid 75 bucks for them to get coated.

That’s what I’d do. Just remove and spray......

I haven’t yet, i would do it as to buying new tips

Just take them off and get them powder coated. They are a pain to remove and put back on. I only paid $40.00 to have mine done.

New member here. I went a little different route. After a Borla Cat back touring exhaust added these double wall oval shaped tips from Wesdon. Really happy with the slight turned down look and it enhanced the tone. Not as expensive as the GM but not as cheap as powder coating to bezel. $110 for both
