Bug deflectors 2024 Trail boss

Good afternoon all,
Here in Arizona, we "rent windshields". I swear we have more loose rock and debris on our Highways than the gravel road to a scarp yard. Yearly broken windshields is a way of life.
I had great success with the Stampede Bug/rock Deflector on my last Dodge and was hoping to get one for my new Trail Boss.

So I am trying to find a Stampede Bug deflector for my 2024 Trail boss but find that Stampede and most others only make one for the NON Trail Boss Silverado.

Havent had a Standard Silverado up close to compare my Trail boss to but sure looks like the leading edge of the hoods are the same.

Any help on: "Is there a real difference between leading edges of the Trail Boss hood versus the standard hood" would be appreciated!

Yes, the 22.5 Refresh they changed the hoods on the Trail Boss and ZR2 so they are unique. There are a few companies out there that make bug deflectors for them. I don't know who off hand, but several people were wanting them and had to wait for the companies to produce them after the change. Non Trail Boss/ZR2 trucks still use the same hoods as the 2019 trucks.

Darn , read your post from back in 2022, hoped by now Stampede would have made a deflector for the Trail boss hood. Have a 50 % answer from vendors on yes fits and no it wont.
Will check the AVS stuff out and see what they look like .

we have the same issue here in TX... between the rocks and the heat, it's hard to keep the windshield from cracking!

I know it's been a while since anyone posted in this, but I wanted to put this out there for those who do not want a stick on hood deflector. I have a 22 refresh and after a lot of unclear answers about what will and will not fit, I reached out to RealTruck and got exactly what I was looking for. It's a non-stick on deflector, remove six plastic retainers that hold on the rubber strip under the hood and use the same holes for screws that come with the deflector. Took about 15 minutes to install, looks great, and has been through several carwashes with no issues. Here's the link to RealTruck, and the Part #:25881. I got smoked and I'm not sure if matte is available.

I installed a Auto Ventshade [AVS] Aeroskin/Hood Protector stick on Oct 16, 2024. Been through car washes and speeds up to 85 mph. It has not budged an inch since install.
However, the one you have a link to is great looking too and the fact it is held in place with screws is a plus.

The white truck has the Lund version bought from the dealer, 100$.
All 3M tape, fits great and so far no issues....going on 6 months and washed several times a week due to the conditions of our project site.

it does nothing for wind placement, only hood edge protection

Has anyone tried PPF windshield film?
New vehicles with cameras are very expensive to replace windshields and recalibrate safety systems. Im glad my 21 TB is somewhat “Old School” since it’s on it second windshield .

I have had three WSs replaced with cameras (and some were more intelligent than GM's dumb google based system) and never been a problem. Replaced in driveway. Yes; more expensive. Biggest problem was my GFs 2025 Terrain, nothing was available for a month or two.
