Center console for trail boss Custom

Hello! Is there a way to alter the center console so it can be opened on TBC? As far as I know most of the parts are pretty much the same for different level TB’s so is there really no way to alter the center console so it’s USABLE??

You have to replace the jumpseat with one that opens or get just the top part and swap it. I have no idea why GM was so stupid as to make it not open on some trucks. Glad mine has the storage. Have somewhat thought about swapping for one with the under seat storage, but I want to try to find a small subwoofer to go there.

I have a 19 Custom. I was shocked too that it did not open. I started looking all over online and was lucky enough to get a matching black cloth one on Ebay, it was spendy back in 21 (about 325 shipped?). Just know that if you do the swap it's a bitch. I found a guy on youtube that did a nice job stepping you through the process. It's not a ton of space (not very deep) but for me it was worth it. As for the parts and being usable I have no idea. Good luck
