I have a 2025 to custom with center jump seat..has anyone swapped this for an older version of the console with better layout than this new design..looking at the 2014 to 16 console
I have swapped my 2024 with a 2019-2022 console. Minor differences from the 2023+. Let me know if you want a parts list. There are some parts you can re-use. I wanted the older console so I could install the Dometic fridge. It’s awesome on road trips.I have a 2025 to custom with center jump seat..has anyone swapped this for an older version of the console with better layout than this new design..looking at the 2014 to 16 console
Did you have any issues with electrical? I currently have the 2022 Custom TB Refresh. Had a similar thought using a 2019-2022 console to avoid the shifter issue, but was told the electrical wouldn't work due to the refreshes having a newer architecture, but from what I can visibly tell the Custom interiors are no different from the 19-22 models.I have swapped my 2024 with a 2019-2022 console. I probably need to do a complete write up, but the short answer is not really any problems. I repurposed the 12v outlet from the dash to power the wireless charger, and with using the newer back trim panel, the USB module can be re-used. The wireless antenna for the key fob is different, so I kept the one that was originally in my truck and just bolted it to a spot under the console.Did you have any issues with electrical?
