Heyyy fellow Trail Bossers

Finally was able to get me a truck. I got me a good deal on a 21 LT Trail Boss 6.2L about a month ago. I've always loved Chevy trucks. My 1st was a '69 C10 when I was 16. Wanted me a 4X4 with some style. I got the Black on Black edition. I plan on changing the exhaust, this truck is so quiet. I'm gonna Black out the rest of the emblems and the front turn signals. Wanting to get aftermarket hood this one has some hail damage on it. Need to see whats the biggest wheels I can fit on her without having to trim anything. Is it worth getting s programmer mod to stop the active fuel management? Excited to trick it out and make it mine. Pictures to come soon.

Congrats and all the advice on here will help you. Just make it yours and enjoy it!

I almost bought one but was concerned about Fit/finish w/o seeing it first.
It looks to be WAY better than the one RK Sport sells. They've been known to sell garbage parts for YEARS. Find LonestarHawiian on YouTube about his hood and quality and fitment from them.

it would be way better if it was functional...all that will do is keep the engine bay filthy. like the look and idea, but it is useless other wise.

Here's a cool hood that you can get painted and shipped to you. https://www.ebay.com/itm/363512919780
I love mine! I went straight to Dawn Enterprises' official provider though. I think Sportwing?

Disabling DFM is worth it for sure. I purchased an actual tuning device that disables it and also adjusts the tuning for more power. But now Diablo Sports has a tuner that you might look into that not only tunes the ECM, but it also tunes the 10-speed transmission as well. And you no longer have to ship off your ECM to get it unlocked like I had to, they send you a device that allows you to unlock the ECM yourself. You should also look into anything that improves airflow, that 6.2 will thank you for it. Enjoy!

He had to spend hours on it to make it right but he also is creating content for his channel. But honestly it was not something I’d put on my truck.
