I am looking at doing this as well. I know it was $600 plus per snowmobile so I'm guess it is is a few thousand but yes, I'd do it for the same reasons.

Go to Mexico like all the military personnel in San Diego do for their wrap jobs. When I lived in San Diego I was being quoted ~$7,000. I had a neighbor that wrapped a VW SUV in purple down in Mexico for much less.
