Have a 2022 refreshed Silverado TB. Has anyone experienced the audible beeping and red light warning on dash beyond the steering wheel as if you were going to rear end someone but there is nothing there? Have had this happen several times for no reason.

Do you have anything covering the outside of the windshield where the rearview mirror mounts? The camera for the crash detection is mounted there. If there's anything on the outside of the windshield it can cause issues. I also have the setting for distance on mine set to the closest.

My 2016 Impala did this a few times when passing under an overpass. I turned it off that day and never used it again. Thankfully my '22 LT doesn't have this feature.

No, nothing on windshield. I'll have to set the distance if I can find where to do that. Thanks for the heads up.

Are you sure it was the crash assist and not the lane keep assist? Mine will do that if I drift over the painted line on the shoulder.

No I do not.

I haven't had this happen with my TB yet, but it has happened a couple times with my 2017 Colorado. Each time I was driving directly into the sun and this seemed to set it off. Weird.
