I’m curious if anyone is running 325/60/R18’s on their stock lifted trail boss with an additional 2 inch front lift only, along with wheel spacers. If you are, post your pics, I’d like to see the stance! Thank you in advance!
I just want a wider tire with a little poke but without having to trim or cut anything. Supposedly, the 295/70/R18’s on my stock wheels will work, but the shop is trying to sell me on needing a 2 inch front lift, and I don’t know if I need that or not. I’d hate to have to lift it if I don’t need to. I’d like spacers as well for more poke , but was told if I did spacers with those tires, it would most likely require trimming/cuttingIt really depends on what you are wanting to do and sacrifice. I am looking at full 37" tires and have decided on the 315/70R/18 just to get a hair bigger than 35" and these are generally about 36". I figure I can go to slightly bigger than 36 without rubbing. I also run a two inch spacer on each wheel for the stance and look I want. Again, its all about sacrifice and what you are looking for your vehicle. Called play time and $!
Did you add spacers? If so what size and did you have to trim. I am running 295/70/18 wth stock rims no rub. I would like to add 1.5 or 2.0 in spacers for the wider stance.I just want a wider tire with a little poke but without having to trim or cut anything. I haven’t done anything yet, still running the stock 275/65/18’s. I didnt wanna buy 4 new tires and have them put on, to be told they don’t fit.Did you add spacers? Thanks Jmzvet,if you add 1.5in spacers it will rub on the mud flap and the fender liner. Simple to trim the mud flap, remove the metal bracket, and pull in the fender liner.
Thank you shadow for the info.I haven’t done anything yet, still running the stock 275/65/18’s. I didnt wanna buy 4 new tires and have them put on, to be told they don’t fit.
Looks great though! Not exactly the info you are looking for but I’d figure I’d chime in because of width and spacers.
I’ve got the 2” ready lift in the front as well as 2”spacers I put 35-12.5-20 and it rubs like all get out.
