I’m posting this in case it helps someone else out. For many months I’ve had this annoying sound coming from the driver side dashboard, like a buzzing rattle that occurred when driving over small bumps at speed. Anyways I finally found the cause… it was the hood release cable. Just rip that sucker out - kidding - I added some more insulation and problem solved.
