Coming home from Colorado pulling my 27ft travel trailer my DEF indicator on my 2024 TB came on saying 1000 miles to empty, then 180 miles down the road it came back on saying 250 miles to empty. Stopped and filled the reservoir and started off again. Never reset the indicator, it kept telling me to refill soon. I pulled into Dalhart TX and just happened to find Hart Chevrolet service department still open. (5:30 PM) They did the diagnostics and technician reset the indicator everything was cool. Next morning started off and not 2 hours down the road the DEF reservoir indicator showed "empty", 500 miles to reduced speed of 65 MPH. I had used the "TOW/HAUL" for towing the trailer, (display came on Exhaust Brake on) I turned that off (Exhaust Brake off) and reduced my speed to conserve the DEF, but then 50 miles later, the DEF indicator showed "FULL" and 280 miles to empty. Must have reset itself. I was 150 miles from home, so I kept trucking. Could that have anything to do with the "TOW/HAUL" switch/knob?? any ideas??

Ok. Took my truck to dealer and the technician stated, "Verified no circuit faults, verified most current software in reductant control module and no related TSB published. Fluid level is communicated via serial data from level sensor built inside of tank. Replaced reductant take complete assembly, filled fluid and retested. indicates full level at this time." Go figure, modern technology and some GM engineer came up with that idea.
