Dfm/auto start and stop disabler for 2022 refreshed???

Hope so. I just wish they could figure out why the radios audio keeps cutting out. Really like the truck have owned Chevy’s all my life, I just feel GM’s quality has slipped, big time.
 
I wish they had left the DFM off my 22' Refreshed 6.2L . I think those trucks with the 5.3L non-DFM will be great long lasting engines.

There are no 5.3's or 6.2's with no DFM. Every one has the same internal hardware (and that's what matters). The trucks "without DFM" simply don't have it turned on in software. So theres no reason to expect the "non-DFM" engines to last any longer.
 
Not saying they don’t have the same internal components. They don’t have the module that shuts those cylinders off. So the way I see it no DFM in my truck.

That's true...i'm just not sure why that's a good thing - you don't get the fuel mileage savings from DFM but you still have to worry about a lifter breaking. Seems like the worst of both worlds to me.
 
Tell you the truth, the truck still averages 17- 18 mpg around town, 22-24 highway. After my 2021 TB dropped its number 4 cylinder at only 2500 miles, you sort of get a bad taste in your mouth with this technology.

17-18mpg around town is what I get now with 35's and a 200lb steel bumper.

It's my intention to install one of these on my TB, but I've been too busy lately.
I finally got time to install the 4DTech stop/start eliminator. It will still work if you want it too, now it up to you.
