I had one on my Colorado and am thinking about pretty sure I'm going to add one to my Trail Boss. If you were to take everything off it does take some time however, I didn't have many occasions where I wasn't able to just load whatever I was needing to haul (8' raft for instance) on top of the cover and tie it down. If loading it on top wouldn't work or needed to stand something up I would just unhook the gas springs and fold the tailgate panel on top of the cab panel and tie them together using the boat tie down points with rope and it gave me access to half my bed. No worry of it coming off because the panel has to be at a 90 degree angle to be completely taken off. Also, loading in 4x4x10 wood posts I thought the cover came in handy because you could close one panel down onto the wood to secure it to the top of the tailgate. I thought it was pretty versatile.
