2024 Chevrolet TrailBoss LT Duramax
I bought my 2024 TrailBoss LT with the 3.0il diesel used because my son blew up his car - and why upgrade a teenage driver? He got my daily driver and I got a new Chevy - 20 years to the month when I bought my 2005 Silverado WT (still going with 230,000 miles on it and the original clutch). I've been towing a 25ft camper through the mountains of Arizona this summer and couldn't be happier with the power and finally having an exhaust brake.

Agree, towing a 26' through the AZ mountains, headed to UT mtns next week and the engine does great. Could say it is like nothing is back there, but a quick look in the rearview mirror tells me a large thing is inches from my rear bumper.

I haven't done more than a couple hour haul with the bumper pull so far. Looking forward to longer trips - definitely have my eye on the dark sky preserve in UT.

Which dark sky; plenty of them in UT. I lived in Moab for close to seven years, primarily off-roading but did a fair amount of photography. Capital Reef area is noted, but plenty of other areas in UT not even designated a dark sky area...

you may know of this site already; however, if not lists a lot of the designated dark sky areas in UT

Thank you for the info! I've been through UT - Moab (some buffalo burger place with giant milkshakes comes to mind), Arches and Zion in my younger days. Now that I have the truck and camper I'll be making a return and not sleeping on a boulder this time.
