What are your biggest dislikes of your Trail Boss?

My number one thing would have to be that Crappy Column Shifter....

Now that the refresh models are out, I dislike my interior and 8 inch screen lol. That's about it though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!!!! bothers me a lot more than it should, not sure if there is a way to tighten that up or not. One thing that is probably an easy fix is the seatbelt flapping when I cruise with my windows down. I had a 2016 LT Z71 before my TB and the drivers cluster had an option to show album art or Audio info which I liked for road trips so I could keep the nav on the infotainment center up. outside of those little things not much really bothers me.

I have a 2021 Custom.

Dislikes:
No HID/LED headlights
No foglights
Small infotainment screen
No power seat
Cheap interior plastics

That's about it really. When I ordered, I wanted the least expensive 6.2L Silverado and this was it. I actually like the column shifter. Every truck I've owned since 1992 has had one so I don't mind them. Very happy with this truck so far. That said, I did order a 2023 LT Trail Boss with the LZ0 diesel to replace this one.

the column shifter being just that is not the issue its when you are driving over any surface not smooth it vibrates like its completely loose.

I don't really have any dislikes or regrets from my ( 2022 6.2 LT Ltd) TB. ( Maybe a lower gear ratio like 3.42 ) Coming from a 2017 Silverado with a 5.3 I looked at the newer TB and I am not total sold with new interior. Just my cents worth. But then again I didn't like the new style when they came Out (2019) but they grew on me. Opinions are like Assholes every one has one. Lol

Hmm, interesting. I've never had that issue. I only have 18k miles though.

Ya the column shifter is not ideal but it was there when I bought the truck and functions w/o issue so I’m not disappointed at all.

I have a refreshed TB LT and love everything about it. My only dislikes aren't with the truck itself but the lack of some options that were standard in previous years. I came from a 2009 2500HD LT which at the time was a step up from the work truck, basically what a Custom is now days. My 2009 had things like a power passenger seat, heated mirrors, etc. as standard options. Now I would have to have paid for one or two overpriced technology packages (that 90% of included options I don't care about) to get what was once standard on a lower level truck. That's the kind of stuff I dislike.

Ove the new 2022 Trail Boss LT and the huge interior screen. The 3.0 Diesel is getting around 27 to 30 MPG. Had a few hiccups in the beginning with what we thought was the DEF, but turned out to be a bad battery. Other than that love the new look inside and out.

Tire road noise. Other than that love everything. Not a lick of trouble
