Just picked up a new '25 TB 6.2 for the wife. Her '18 LTZ was in the shop at 85k miles needing a new transmission ($7k) so we were in a bit of bind. Wife didn't want to wait for a custom order or an inbound vehicle so our choices were limited in terms of what the dealer had on their lot. She loves it.... so that is all the really matters, but not an ideal spec to my tastes. I talked her into letting me remove the rear decals and I just installed GoRhino RB20 (slim) running boards. My biggest dislike with the truck is 1) the technology overload, and 2) the hood scoop(s). Does the hood scoop come on all new TB's or just on the 6.2? If it was my truck I'd be looking into a hood swap right now but she likes it. We are getting some real snow tomorrow so i'm curious to see how these Goodyear MT's will do in the snow. I was disappointed not to see a 3 peak rating not the sidewall. We've run Duratracs on her last two Silverados with good luck. I've run BFG AT KOs on my Toyotas.

that scoop in TB specific...they all have it now. you would need to swap hoods to remove, they bolt on.
the boards look great, similar to the factory high clearance boards.

Nice truck! These trucks look awesome in black. I have also thought about removing the rear TB stickers and either leaving them off, or replacing with all black.

If those are the 20" wheels with the Goodyear Territory MT tires, they are great in the snow. I live in Michigan and we get snow/ice/slop all winter. Slap it in auto 4wd and stomp the gas pedal and it hooks and goes!

I like the hood scoop but it's purely cosmetic so I can see how some might not like it.

I like the hood scoops. Unfortunately for me, the refresh hood won't work with my truck. I'd probably buy one.

Sure it will. The non Trail Boss/ZR2 trucks still have the same hoods with the refresh.

When I look at it and have not researched it. It is a nonfunctional hood ornament, right?

I have to agree. The GY Territory MT tires really should have the Three Peaks rating, IMHO. When I go on rescue/recoveries, folks have already proven they are in good places to get stuck and/or broken/disabled.

When my original Wrangler MT's achieved 45,550+ miles I replaced them with the exact same tires.
All of us involved have been very impressed with how the big Chevy does on rugged terrain in mountain snow. I have used my Tire Chains only twice.
