Any help would be appreciated. Anyone know the where I would tap into for adding runningboard lights. I want them to come-on with the key fob or when the doors are opened. Thanks for for any help.

Hey Denny I’m looking for the same info for adding the same options. Maybe some one on here has some info

Yea, me to. Nothing yet. I can find info on other sites, but nothing for the newer trucks like my 2023.

Hi fellow members, This is my first post and i hope this will help you find the power source you are looking for.

It's hard to see your picture.
In the BCM on the drivers side the color connector is Natural and the pin is # 23 . But I am not sure what the color wire is off hand. Sorry

Never thought about it but this would be a cool mod. If you already bought some nice aftermarket steps

Yes it would. I have Amp research powerstep runningboards on my truck now and they have the lights on them. I replaced the lights that came with the runningboards and installed a set of LED strip lights. Much better and very bright. I'm still considering and wanting to try the trigger wire thing in case I decide to put maybe some footwell lights on for the interior . Lighting is horrible when you get in at night.

Sorry to revive an old thread. I'm currently trying to power a set of led light strips for my running boards. Was anyone able to test/ figure out the correct wire to tap into? Mine is a 2021 trail boss. Would really appreciate any help.
